Thursday 31st October 2019
Year 5 & 6 boy’s table tennis team from Chantry Primary School won the Luton tournament on the 31st October after some very successful matches against the other Luton Schools.
Friday 22nd November
Our boys travelled to Lincroft Academy in Bedfordshire to attend the County Finals competition.
The boys played against four other qualifying teams from Robert Bloomfield, Hillborough and two teams from Bedford Preparatory School.
Each of the four players competed in two matches against different opponents, playing 8 matches in total against each of our opponents. The boys were excellent not only in their performances during matches, but also assisting with the scoring and supporting their team players.
Against the majority of schools, we held the lead by a considerable amount, winning seven out of the eight matches.
Due to the focus and determination shown throughout this competition the Chantry team became County Champions again this year and will progress through to the Zone Finals in January 2020
An amazing achievement, well done boys!

Just would like to add that all four boys are individually coached by myself, Elroy Edwards, and members of Luton Table Tennis Club of which I am the founder. Nuff Respect.
