Luton TTC is now developing a Schools Table Tennis Program for ALL schools across the Luton and surrounding area. This will allow us to provide table tennis learning and enjoyment to children in the local community.
Pirton Hill Primary School
Table Tennis is one of the growing sports, especially in schools because of the great benefits of mental and physical development. The motor skills required are complicated, but mental and physical efforts and persistence are rewarded with a clear visible progression. Making perseverance and overcoming difficulties a habit benefits development in other areas. In addition, Table Tennis simply is a lot of fun and a very good activity for kids to enjoy. We are convinced that Table Tennis is one of the best sports for children from the age 5,6 and 7 onwards in terms of their development.
With a free taster session we would like to expose the kids to table tennis and encourage them to take it up as a sport. The after school club can help them develop their table tennis skills and grow their coordination and motor skills.
The school program involves the provision of facilities, equipment, coaching needs and administrative support. It is organized to nurture grass root talent and give them opportunities to demonstrate their skills, co-ordination and communication as required in the tournament.
